Title: Junior Firefighter
| A fireman was polishing his American-LaFrance Pumper one day. When he looked outside, he saw a young lad doing the same thing with his pedal-car fire truck. The fireman thought that he'd make the kid's day if he did a little "shoptalk" with him. The fireman said, "Hello, there firefighter. That's a mighty fine rig you've got." The youngster replied, "Yep, we've put out some pretty big blazes with this truck!" The fireman asked, "Do you pedal to all of the big fires?" The young lad said, "Nope, I hook my dog up to the rig and he pulls me. Here, I'll show you." The fireman watches as the kid attaches a rope from the pedal-car fire truck and ties it around the dog's testicles. The fireman suggested, "Uh, don't you think he could pull you better if the rope was tied around his neck?" The junior firefighter replied, "Yeah, but then I wouldn't have a siren anymore."
